Regional Vocational Assessment Center
Quality Youth Employment Services
The Regional Vocational Assessment Center (RVAC), housed within the Northern RI Collaborative, provides vocational assessments, work experiences, and entry-level job training for youth between the ages of 16-24. We focus on assisting students new to the world of work by providing on-the-job exploration experiences. We also support students through a classroom- based approach to learning employers’ expectations, soft skills, resume writing, and interviewing skills.
Our students are unlike the rest. WHY?
Who is Eligible
All students work directly with a Career Resource Specialist (CRS). Each CRS holds a Certified Employment Support Professional credential. We are proud to be the first employment team in Rhode Island to earn CESP credentials.
Students currently enrolled in high school can begin with assessments and work experiences.
Recent graduates up to the age of 24 years old have the ability to take advantage of any of our services with the approval of ORS.
If you would like to learn more about hiring your next best employee, please contact a CRS at the Northern RI Collaborative (401) 495-2000.
